Backup Systems
All of our desktops and laptops use a Backup System system. We exploits a new technology called Snort, more fully described below. Backing up all files in your documents, desktop and favourites folders scheduled randomly during the day. If your machine is switched off, a backup will run 60 minutes of your computer being turned on. This method minimises the load on our network and your backup server.
Even though backups are scheduled automatically, it is possible to run a manual backup, particularly useful if you are using a laptop computer. You will find an icon on your desktop called backup, run it from your desktop and it will start a backup of the desktop immediately.
